Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji has approved 'Samudra Manthan' – the National Offshore Exploration Scheme, a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, with an approved outlay of ₹84,084 crore for implementation up to FY 2030–31.

The scheme aims to unlock India's vast offshore energy potential through a comprehensive set of interventions across the entire offshore exploration value chain. It is expected to strengthen domestic hydrocarbon exploration, catalyse reserve accretion of over 600 Million Metric Tonnes of Oil Equivalent (MMTOE), boost domestic hydrocarbon production, reduce dependence on energy imports, and reinforce India's journey towards an energy-secure and self-reliant #ViksitBharat.

In Mysuru tomorrow, 1st August, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Youth Centre, Viveka Smaraka will be inaugurated. This is associated with Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Mysuru in 1892. Viveka Smaraka has classrooms, a library, a meditation and Yoga Hall and more. It will be at the forefront of empowering our youth and popularising the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda.

Union Cabinet chaired by Hon. PM Shri @narendramodi Ji has approved the revamped Khelo India Scheme with an outlay of ₹36,441 crore for FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31, reinforcing India's commitment to becoming a global sporting powerhouse.

The revamped scheme introduces the Emerging Khelo India Athletes (E-KIAS) category to expand the athlete development ecosystem nearly tenfold and establishes the National Coach Accreditation Board (NCAB) to standardise coaching excellence. It also strengthens the ANSF Scheme (2026–31) to enhance support for coaching, sports science, training, international exposure, and global sports cooperation.

Modi government has strengthened India's sports landscape through landmark initiatives like the Khelo India Programme and the development of modern sports infrastructure across the country.

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट द्वारा ₹5,070 करोड़ की प्रधानमंत्री सूर्य सरोवर योजना (PM-SSY) को मंजूरी दी गई है। यह अभूतपूर्व निर्णय ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर भारत के संकल्प को साकार करने की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है।

5,000 मेगावाट की फ्लोटिंग सोलर परियोजनाओं तथा 10,000 मेगावाट-घंटे की ऊर्जा स्टोरेज क्षमता के विकास से स्वच्छ ऊर्जा उत्पादन को नई गति मिलेगी। इससे बिजली आपूर्ति की विश्वसनीयता बढ़ेगी, कार्बन उत्सर्जन में कमी लाने में सहायता मिलेगी तथा जलाशयों का अधिक प्रभावी उपयोग सुनिश्चित होगा।

यह ऐतिहासिक निर्णय भारत को हरित ऊर्जा महाशक्ति बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर सिद्ध होगा। इस दूरदर्शी एवं जनहितैषी निर्णय हेतु प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी का हार्दिक आभार।

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी के नेतृत्व में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि (PM-KISAN) योजना को 2026–27 से 2030–31 तक जारी रखने की मंज़ूरी प्रदान की है।

कृषक कल्याण हेतु समर्पित इस योजना हेतु ₹3.15 लाख करोड़ का प्रावधान किया गया है। विगत 12 वर्षों में मोदी सरकार द्वारा अन्नदाताओं को सशक्त एवं आत्मनिर्भर बनाने हेतु अनेक अभूतपूर्व निर्णय लिये गये हैं। इसी क्रम में यह योजना निश्चय ही लाखों किसानों के कृषि निवेश, आय और ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को और मज़बूत करेगी।

प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान योजना से लाभान्वित सभी अन्नदाता भाई-बहनों को बधाई एवं प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी का आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ।

हिमाचल प्रदेश के कांगड़ा जनपद के निवासी जनरल विश्वनाथ शर्मा जी ने अपने अद्वितीय शौर्य, अनुकरणीय नेतृत्व और राष्ट्रसेवा के संकल्प से भारतीय सेना की गौरवशाली परंपरा को नई ऊँचाइयों तक पहुँचाया। उनके बड़े भाई, प्रथम परमवीर चक्र मेजर सोमनाथ शर्मा जी और उनका परिवार भारतीय सैन्य परंपरा, बलिदान और राष्ट्रभक्ति की अमूल्य विरासत का जीवंत प्रतीक रहा है। राष्ट्र के प्रति उनका अतुलनीय योगदान सदैव स्मरणीय रहेगा।

The passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Rajya Sabha today is a historic step towards safeguarding the dreams, hard work, and talent of crores of young Indians.

Introduced under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, this amendment will strengthen the credibility of the examination system by making it more transparent, fair, and accountable. It will effectively curb examination mafias, paper leak syndicates, and organised cheating, while ensuring stringent action against those found guilty. The legislation will provide robust protection to the aspirations, merit, and future of our youth.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to PM Modi Ji for bringing this landmark reform. I also sincerely thank all the Members of Parliament and political parties who supported the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026 in the House.
