We love passion projects, even when they take their time.
To celebrate the completion of one of our very first, which started way back in 2020, we thought it would be fun to give our small screens a break and enjoy it on the big screen with friends. ✨
Join us for the premiere of “Distance”
February 5th at 7 PM
Historic Theatre, The Cultch (@TheCultch )
We will also screen a selection of past passion projects. Stick around after to hang out. 🍻
Limited seating. Tickets available at the link in our bio and directly at https://t.co/EE5V1BX7o5
2025! You were good to us 🤝
You gave us dots and lines (classic), colourful characters, and a whole lot of search bars. You showed us how to salsa (some are better than others 👀) and gave us the momentum to finish our longest passion project yet. (Stay tuned 🤫).
You gave us good work, good people, and plenty of moments that reminded us why we like doing this together. 🥹 We’re grateful to everyone we worked with this year. 🔥
In line with tradition, here's our #motionflashback edited by our very own producer, Mona Fani. 🤠

Who needs a Christmas yule log when you watch the creation of a molten hot, exploding volcano?
Our designer Avi wanted to push the limits of fluid, 2D animation with her illustrations. We put our heads together, things got wild, and a volcano came out of it. 🌋🔥
Earlier this year, we teamed up with the Google crew on a bunch of exciting projects, and along the way, we’ve become good friends! This collaboration included not just one, but several videos (plus a few secret explorations). From unveiling AI Mode to the world, to creating sizzle pieces for I/O, and even crafting ads you might’ve spotted out in the wild, it’s been a fun ride.
Here’s a montage featuring some of our favourite moments.
For many of us, salsa was always playing in the background. On bumpy bus rides, couples dancing in the plaza, or even at failed dance lessons. And one thing never changes: it’s hard to hear salsa without wanting to move and smile. That was the same feeling we had when @google invited us to create a Doodle celebrating this vibrant, energetic genre for Hispanic Heritage Month. ¡Azúcar!
The warmth of the setting sun on your skin. A child’s hand in yours. The comfort of a caring family, a close friendship, a clear purpose. In these moments, light breaks through and we catch a glimpse of something more.
In partnership with @desiringGod, we crafted a slow, cinematic piece that explores how our deepest longings point to something far greater and far sweeter.
Inspired by the early web, we teamed up with @0xPolygon to create this explainer for @Agglayer, a product enabling THE NEXT NEW INTERNET! We blended abstract visuals with quirky elements, and a little nostalgia. Enjoy a short montage of our favourite moments!
This piece for Praxis is all about redemptive entrepreneurship.
What does that even mean? It’s building something that gives more than it takes. We got to tell that story using the things we love most—simple shapes, thoughtful colour, and animation that doesn’t get in the way.
I love abstract geometry and graphic design, so I was thrilled to animate these shots for the White Noise project. Check out the full piece in flatwhitemotion latest work.

2024, you were… quite something.
A year of twists and turns, challenges and growth, for both us and the industry. As we look back, we’re grateful for every project we poured our hearts into, every memory we made, the highs, the lows, the people who joined us and moved on...

Driving with music at night can feel almost magical. The way water drops slide across the window, the blurred reflections dancing on wet pavement, the glow of passing streetlights. This feeling, this interplay of light and colour, became the essence of our project.
