Another record breaking day for @pumpcade.

There is now just 1 day left in the Cade Cup, our first real test and debut to the world.

Less than 2 weeks before we announced it, we decided to do a World Cup tournament on the platform. We essentially shipped an entire custom version of the Pumpcade application for this.

The traction so far has truly blown us away. THOUSANDS of active users, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of predictions. We are a small team, and these numbers have us punching far above our weight.

The important metric here for us is CONCURRENT active users. The Cade Cup is live for a few hours each day. During this time, we have thousands of users on the platform, spamming predictions and competing.

Yes, there are bugs. Yes, there are issues due to the sheer amount of traffic. But this is WHY we decided to do the Cade Cup, and with fake dollars.

Our goal is to ship the best application for short duration realtime prediction markets, and the World Cup was the best test for this. There are LOTS of edge cases in Soccer, and we knew by offering a large prize pool, we could really stress test the platform.

The information that we've been able to collect during the Cade Cup is invaluable to us, and will help us continue to perfect the platform before mainnet. We've collected millions upon millions of individual user events, and these will help us build the best platform.

The Cade Cup is the first, but NOT the last tournament. We will make sure every aspect of Pumpcade is flawless before we launch with real dollars on the platform.
