Wow! #ChatGPT was trained on 1TB of data - we have 2TB of geospatial data everyday from satellites orbiting the earth! @bengmstrong says training foundation models on this data could be game changing for addressing #climatechange and #biodiversityloss.

@erikmschneider Just bc an animal isn’t large + in your face doesn’t mean it’s not valuable to humans. Bats provide key ecosystem services to us. Balancing new infrastructure critical to climate action with endangered species protection? Now that’s an important problem to solve.
