1/ So here is one my 2026 projects
I just bought a pile of rocks in Ticino Switzerland in November.
17th-century stone Rustico. Roof needs work. Floors are missing.
Everyone thinks I’m crazy for taking this on. But you can't print more history.
Casual sex seems like a good idea until you do it and realize you just traded your energy for a dopamine hit that’s already gone and now she caught feelings and you gotta be the bad guy and a week later you’re horny again and the loop repeats and you’re back in the same place wondering why you still feel empty
what most ppl fail to understand is that capitalism has turned beauty into a commodity. roughly speaking.
e.g. just go anywhere in nyc & you’ll see it immediately. ~beautiful ppl are everywhere. beautiful ppl at coffee shops. beautiful ppl going out. beautiful ppl walking dogs they prolly chose for brand alignment.
& ozempic will simply accelerate this even further.
so what is scarce?
well, being interesting. having taste. being funny. being able to hold a real conversation. being someone another person actually wants to think with. that stuff does not commoditize easily at all. ppl yearn to spend time with ppl who help them understand themselves & the world better they could ever do it alone. you’ll get tired of looking at a good looking person eventually, that’s virtually guaranteed.
which is why it’s funny that so many people are still optimizing for hot as if hot is rare or even lasts. that’s why ppl are potentially paying more for intellectual connection than physical connection.
ppl still yearn to connect with those that can keep their mind awake after their eyes have already adjusted.
steve jobs didn't drink athletic greens. plato didn’t take creatine. picasso didn’t wear a whoop. shakespeare didn’t own an eight sleep. einstein didn’t use an infrared sauna. they all did just fine.
I do this really cute thing where I give people the benefit of the doubt and assume they’re doing the best they can with the tools they have and nothing they do or say to me is ever personal.
