"You confused Zelensky with Putin and Trump with your own Vice President, how can anyone have faith in your ability to lead another 4 years?"
This isn't hard folks cmon
It really strikes a nerve when I hear people say “they want to do the right thing” in regards to immigration. Especially from journalists, especially from Latino journalists. It doesn’t take a lot of research to realize that “the right way” is a myth.

I find that if you say motherhood sucks you have to quickly say BUT I LOVE MY CHILD. And If you absolutely love being a mom you have to quickly say, BUT IT’S HARD SOMETIMES.
When the truth is that we probably all feel all of this at different points in a single day.
Multiple things can be true at once. Motherhood has been even harder than anything anyone told me. I LOVE my daughter. I enjoy being a mom and sometimes I really really don’t. I miss when it didn’t take me 3 days to read an article. But in btwn I held and laughed w/ my baby.
I wrote a essay about the grim way being a mom in America is depicted today, and how women weighing parenthood struggle to absorb all these chilling warnings, statistics, and cautionary tales.
It’s an essay about dread, but also hope and maybe change.

The Mexican military, the Mexican National Guard, state police, the commission of missing persons were all involved in helping my sister, brother-in-law return to safety.
They continue in their efforts to help return two other people who are kidnapped the same week.
To all the journalists that joined protests in Mexico, and who covered the story, thank you.
And thank you to all the state and federal agencies who helped get my sister and brother-in-law back to us.
Te amo hermana. De aquí al infinito y más allá.
I don’t have the words to express the relief and gratefulness I feel to have them back safely.
Thank you to every single person who prayed, who shared my posts, who sent messages of support.
Thank you God.
I pray for every person who has experienced this to be returned to their families.
Thank you to Artículo 19 for all the support and for everything you do go to protect journalists.
