Looking forward to playing @swallowhill tonight alongside other songwriters and I’m grateful for all @swallowhill does to foster a wonderful music community in Denver.

Finished a song yesterday I’ve been working on for a year and a half. Such a good feeling!

Morning’s gettin’ started with my 15-month-old clapping to “Lay Lady Lay” in his high chair as he eats breakfast. 😂 #layladylay

Just found out that my record, Light in the Lowlands, is #36 on the Roots Music Report's Colorado chart! This is a first for me and soooo exciting!! https://t.co/ww70nfOjLB

#FallBack is the biggest “gotcha” for parents everywhere. An extra hour of sleep? No. An extra hour of very much awake from 5-6 am. It’s 8 and I feel like it should be lunch already. HELP!!

[Kelly Augustine @kaugustinemusic]

@fancrazy24 @LyleLovett You have no idea how much truth there is in that. 😊

[Kelly Augustine @kaugustinemusic]

My daughter: Mom, if this house gets too small I’m gonna buy you Texas.
Me: You are?
My daughter: YES! Because I know you love @LyleLovett.

She is correct. Nobody knows me like my daughter. 😁😁

[Kelly Augustine @kaugustinemusic]

@bsimpsonmusic @LyleLovett YES!! I knew the true Lyle fans would get it!

For anyone wanting to move to Colorado, let it be known that it’s snowing here now. Yes, already.

Had the best iced mocha of my life last week @coffeeslingers in OKC. The black coffee was also the smoothest I’ve ever tasted. I thought, no way can it be this good twice. I went back & it was undoubtedly the BEST I’ve ever had. @coffeeslingers Bravo! Can’t stop dreaming about u.

[Kelly Augustine @kaugustinemusic]

My 3-yr-old daughter just said, “Mom can you play Graceland and then 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover?” 😁 Cause that’s just how we roll up in here.

[Kelly Augustine @kaugustinemusic]

Challenged by her producer, Kelly Augustine (@kaugustinemusic) finished "Seeds of Hope" specifically for her upcoming album, Light in the Lowlands -- and she was surprised how much she liked how it turned out.

Take a listen right here, on BGS. https://t.co/hVDmJgPUhr
