@natellewellyn@TaraLifBaum Really hoping this is a use case AI solves for us. I've found value in defining my own questions for review, but there is too much friction to that habit for it to be widely used.
I am happy to report that this snowflake, Jeffrey, that I just caught is the official record breaking flake. Utah now has its ALL-TIME DEEPEST SNOWPACK!
@peterjacobrich Nope. I was just curious more than anything.
My team is building student ratings software. I discovered this was the first-ever article on the subject. I was curious to see how far things have (or have not) come in 100 years.
5 years ago, I predicted this will be the greatest impact AI will have on education. I'm still bullish on that claim.
Forward-thinking institutions are preparing for a future in which they may not have a monopoly on recognition. (6/6)

The internet failed to transform education. 👎
Imagine telling someone from the past about it:
- Instant global communication
- Immediate access to everything we know
- Rich content (images, videos, interactivity)
Then describe our modern education system. (1/6)

The secret to unlocking the internet’s potential impact is not content or credentials. We have great content. We can issue any credential. The key is finding new *scalable* ways to measure complex skills (5/6).
@natellewellyn I'll take a look. My issue is that spending doesn't have a cap, but scores on standardized tests do.
Standards have also changed significantly since 1970, but this chart does not account for that kind of "inflation".
They are arguing an important point, it just feels sloppy.
