Coyote Vs Acme is wonderful. @dgreenmachine nails it. Hilarious smart existential and moving and makes this all-time character more relevant than ever. 🧨💥❤️
Hello people who refuse to leave this cursed website,
Jess and I are hosting a screening of RINGU at @vidiots this Friday evening! RINGU is legitimately the scariest movie I've ever seen, and I can't wait to watch it again (hopefully with some of you). https://t.co/xGUaYlzJSU
I am violating my self-imposed Twitter ban to share this one important message:
Blindspotting season two starts airing this Friday on Starz! And episodes 3 and 4 were directed by Jess Wu Calder!

Just a reminder that I run a cozy Mastodon community for film and TV folk. If that describes you, this might be the right server for you to join. https://t.co/pgH8KmmYB7
@vidiots@numinosity You’re welcome to join mine! It’s for film and TV folk, and has great people. Do the sign up at https://t.co/L83oGEpomx and I’ll approve you.
I hear people are looking for a Mastodon server for film/tv folk. Luckily I set one up the last time people were leaving Twitter. Come join the BBQ! https://t.co/bfeFJmqpCP
@CalvinStarnesOG@fadeinsoftware@RachelSL I'm enjoying it a lot. It doesn't have the same "every post feels like a preemptive punch or a scream for attention" chaotic energy to it, but I think that's a positive not negative.
@CalvinStarnesOG@RachelSL It's not silo'ed. If anything it's less silo'ed because you can also view the local and the federated feed as additional options to just the people you follow.
I know I'm a broken record on this, but Mastodon is so delightful. The model of having a local community that federates with the larger social network works much better and is more intuitive than I expected. Consider checking it out, if you haven't already!

@EasyLivingFilm Yes. The main difference is that the local feed will be fitting whatever content and culture they cultivate. Federated feeds will be very similar across instances.
I’m delighted by how Mastodon has grown over the last couple weeks. It has mostly supplanted Twitter for me, and I suspect if it keeps growing like this I won’t be coming back to Twitter very much. Film and TV folks who are considering joining Mastodon, feel free to join us here!
