You're confusing political appointments with political trust.

If Cabinet positions were the highest proof of loyalty, then everyone who has served in government would still be politically relevant today.

Edwin Sifuna wasn't made ODM Secretary General because of luck. He earned that responsibility and has consistently defended the party, often in the toughest moments.

Leadership isn't measured by the office you occupy but by the confidence people have in you when it matters.

The irony is that you're using government appointments to define trust while serving in a government that has made political appointments its primary currency.

Trust cannot be gazetted. It is earned.
