There's a department at work with ONE employee, and he's the manager of that department. ππ, guess the reason why the company made him a manager?
I just came across this video on TikTok, and unfortunately this is real.
One of my cultural shocks.
An Average township in Gauteng is far developed than an average βtownshipβ in Western Cape.
Infact, the word Ekasi (Township) is not used to describe informal settlements in Gauteng.
(I donβt mean to belittle any soul and ngiyaxolisa if kunambitheka kabi)
i don't like her content. she has a
condescending tone and a bit of internalised misogyny. you don't give advice to women by shaming or belittling them. "Pretty girls can't poop everywhere"? are we now being shamed for having a healthy bowel?
Sydney is young and clearly doesnβt understand the weight of what sheβs saying.
Tylaβs sister, Sydney, says she prefers living in the USA over her home country, South Africa, after previously being robbed there.
She needs to remember that she is not Tyla. The attention and access she gets in America are largely because she is Tylaβs sister, not because she has built some massive career of her own.
And before she starts romanticising America, she should understand that the country has its own serious problems, including police violence and gun violence. No country is perfect.
Whatβs frustrating is that careless comments like these can easily reflect back on Tyla. Tyla worked hard to build her name and global brand, and Sydney shouldnβt be recklessly creating unnecessary controversy around it.
She should be more careful with what she says publicly because Tyla has worked hard to build her reputation. One careless comment shouldnβt damage that.
Enjoy America if you want, but thereβs no need to disrespect the country that you come from just to prove you belong somewhere else. πΏπ¦
