@kodssansal@JoyceWhiteVance At least a Democratic congress didn’t pass a law giving President Biden past, present and future immunity from breaking any laws, civil or criminal for himself, his entire family, his businesses. Ask yourself why? Ask yourself how, because that’s unconstitutional
@rodriQuez@GavinNewsom So, when Republicans in Texas gerrymandered districts to give Trump the 5 seats he “deserved” that was just fine, and when the Supreme Court voted to allow the southern states to remove Black representation entirely, that was ok too, but not enough for power hungry Republicans
@ArcanesDreamer@GavinNewsom Or, because the State of California is counting paper ballots, and preventing internet uploads from “adjusting” the counts, they are taking the time necessary to prevent the strategies admitted by Republicans that “only the right people vote”. Calif values every voice
@RobertP91006927@CalltoActivism Hey, wasn’t there a study that showed tons of you trolls and bots were actually posting from Russia, or Southeast Asia? That you were fakes, designed to make MAGA look more popular? It’s not working. People are smarter than you think. Look at how unpopular Trump’s policies are
Are there any restraints on the theft of taxpayer money being called a “slush fund”? Anything to stop the King from just keeping taxpayer money? If this works will he do it again?
@fodiographer@TelvinGriffin I wonder if it worked like this: although the voting machines weren’t uploading directly, once the vote totals were calculated, those numbers were. Once the totals were uploaded (to Starlink?) who had access, and therefore control of those totals? Could they have been “adjusted”?
@TheJusticeDept Well, there’s one really obvious difference that I see. Seems like redressing racism that the government engaged in rights a wrong. Seems like a mob that attacked our Capitol and threatened death to Congresspeople shouldn’t get rewarded for felonious acts
@ShadowPatriotUS@TheRickWilson No, sir, this isn’t a red or blue situation https://t.co/xa5PNA457a shocking that you welcome an administration that doesn’t care whether or not something is legal. The whims of your “mad king” who is now raiding the treasury, and making decrees that put his family above the law?
@JamesTate121 I guess we don’t care about whether or not something Trump wants is legal or not. This is the true death of democracy, and our claim to be a country of laws. The fallout from this is going to be immense. If Trump doesn’t have to follow the law, why should the rest of us?
@TheRickWilson It’s not a “DOJ” anymore..there isn’t any Justice involved. There isn’t a single thing being done for the People, it’s just all about appeasing Trump’s insane attempts to punish people who have displeased him, and, to steal public funds
@steelrat65@chrislhayes You do know about spell check, right? This isn’t a video game you trash talk about. This is our country, with real people. Grow up
@chrislhayes Is it possible that Trump is planning something even worse? He has his shock troups, and a military that is being conditioned to accept that anyone who dissents is an “enemy of the country” that they must defend against. I sincerely hope that somehow the mid terms will limit him
@T_Hates_Cali@JenKiggans Every single person who claims “well, white people picked cotton too” is neglecting to say that the white people weren’t forced, and got paid for their labor. Do better.
@JenKiggans@tweetMalena So, if gerrymandering is wrong, and some Democrat run states, particularly California, tried their best to end it, only reinstating it after Republicans engaged in it in Texas, why doesn’t Congress put an end to it? Could it be because Republicans are only about rules for others?
Why do we stand for a Supreme Court declaring itself immune from having to obey ethics rules? If anything rules for our highest Court should be even more stringent, with real consequences, yet their reputations suggest they aren’t behaving ethically and that’s somehow ok?
@UpsetLiberal123@ABC How about We, the People pay attention, step up, vote for a Congress that represents all of us, and get them to pass ethics laws with teeth. Take a bribe, get fired (unseated) it’s not that difficult unless you are participating in the grifting
@kkevinaten@ABC Sadly, it seems that there are still a small amount of people who admire the corruption and grifting and greed. This breaks the social contract with an every man for himself attitude that ignores the truth that the People are stronger, healthier, and wealthier when acting together
