Kansas City International Airport (MCI) set a record Sunday!
The Airport had its busiest outbound travel day in the history of MCI.
24,266 travelers went through security screening yesterday, marking the first time the airport has ever crossed the 24,000 mark.

The latest phase of the Lee's Summit Road Reconstruction Project is complete, replacing dangerous curves and steep hills with a safer, straighter roadway between Lakewood Boulevard and Anderson Road.
Improvements include:
✅ Straighter roadway
✅ One lane in each direction
✅ Center turn lanes at intersections
✅ Wider roadway
✅ New sidewalks & multi-use trail
✅ Personal mobility lanes
✅ New curbs, gutters & retaining walls
✅ New storm sewer system & water mains
