Feeling inspired after today's #teamwast North Volunteer Conference. Highlighting the amazing work the Volunteers do.

Last year our Community First Responders (CFRs) attended 14,000 calls alongside colleagues from #TeamWAST - an incredible average of 1.5 calls every hour of the year. In August there were 3 CFR initiated ROSCs and over 50% of the Red calls attended by our CFRs see arrival within 8 minutes. THANK YOU!

With 100 volunteers in the team colleagues from our Volunteer Car Service (VCS) completed 48,000 patient journeys last year and travelled over 1.6 million miles. This incredible contribution to our communities is greatly appreciated. Diolch. #TeamWAST

@sarajcox Summer student work, Welk picker, paid by weight...lasted 2 days, 8 hour shifts, earned £3.20... spent more on body wash and shampoo because the smell lingered sooooo much!
