@Mr_Neutral_Man Selling that upside call almost never worth the heartache it brings... save $20 in premium but lose flexibility and lots of upside. Fairly certain a 1 turn move in EBITDA is almost $200 these days $CHTR
Ugh. I hate that this is so accurate. Share count down 30% since original tweet. 1 spinoff completed. Adjusted for spins/divs think that the stock is still down a couple percent. Fries comp still chugging along.
The year is 2030, $LBTYA CEO Mike Fries has just taken home his 17th consecutive year of $1b in total comp. One single share remains outstanding after two decades of relentless buybacks. It is jointly owned by Seth Klarman and Ted Weschler. The stock price stands at $15.
Market's down hard in a couple days.
Now’s not the time to panic.
Go over your favorite names and re-underwrite your theses. Pick your levels/valuations. Be ready to be aggressive.
Do this every couple weeks. Not sure it's going to be a V-recovery this time so be patient.
@AduenamCap Think they are going to significantly beat their 50% growth guide? My concern is the low margin nature of that procurement biz - hard to get a big multiple on a 7-8% gross margin.
@Mr_Neutral_Man Still watching $BERY - now $AMCR?
You believe they can squeeze out the requisite 3% from resin suppliers to get to synergy targets? Seems doable.. hopefully the combined entity gets AMCR's valuation over time and not legacy BERY
Nice dividend while you wait.
@Mr_Neutral_Man Shouldn't tide turning lift all boats? Why $AMBP and not $CCK or $BALL? seems overcapacity finally coming to an end... $AMBP is levered equity
