Apologies to those who were planning to attend my guest lecture in Sheffield next week - we’ve had to cancel this due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances

Terribly sad news - Morag was one of the most passionate, inspiring and warm academics I have ever had the pleasure to be taught by. She passed on her love of children’s literature and was the first person to tell me I could do a PhD. Thank you Morag.
We are sad to hear of the death of Morag Styles, who did so much to champion #poetry for children and inspired so many through her work, books and teaching. Obituary to follow, meanwhile enjoy her selection of ten of the best poetry books for children https://t.co/qRDx3O8vnT
