Good morning homies...
It might be time to fire yourself.
You may say you want change, I want to be happy, I want to be healthy, I want to be free, but your body is on a whole different program. We get up on the same side of the bed each morning, make some coffee, check our phones, jump on social media, check the news, take a shower, drive to work, see the same people that push the same emotional buttons. All in the same way and same fashion every single day. That becomes your routine that you've programmed into your brain. That is why change becomes difficult.
Have you ever noticed that, for most, it takes some kind of tragedy or crisis to invoke change? You can learn while in the midst of pain and suffering. And we all do. It is certainly a part of the human experience. And in many ways it is unavoidable. However, you can also learn to change amidst joy and inspiration.
If you're not being defined by a vision of the future, then you are left with the old memories of the past and the choices you make will be predictable in your life. How many people do you know who remain stuck in their ways? They always respond in a particular fashion to the same stimuli. Why do you think that is? Because they've conditioned themselves through the routine they've created. They are responding to the beliefs they've created of the past. If you're not living the life you want, it is time to break the chains of bondage that you have placed yourself in and are holding you back.
How you think and how you feel creates your state of being. It can keep you stuck, spiraling down or slowly bleeding out leaving you in a state of decay. The only difference is the tempo at which you rot. Conversely, how you think and feel can create superhuman feats of strength and power. It can produce extraordinary results in one's life. Think of titans of industry. Do you think their vision of the future they want looks like growth or decay? Do you think their routines produce negativity in their lives and of those around them? Or does it produce an intense drive to become great and elevate those around them?
We are told in Scripture that without a vision, the people will perish. You see, God knew from the beginning how mankind thinks. He knew that we would need a positive vision of the future to focus on in order to move forward in any meaningful way. He knew this long before science determined we could rewire our neurological pathways. I mean...He did create us. And the greatest vision one can attain is fulfilling the purpose for their very existence. And our main purpose in life is to preach the Good News of the Gospel of Peace. To live our lives to further God's Kingdom. To become like Christ in how we live our lives. No amount of worldly success can replace the treasures you will store up in Heaven from living your life with this vision.
And we are told in Colossians in all that we do, do as unto the Lord. Do it to glorify the Father. Live for Christ. And so as we live, it doesn't really matter what we do for a living. Just do it for the Lord. I'm building an empire. But I do it for the Lord. It doesn't matter if I'm building a custom home or a toilet needs to be cleaned. Either way, I'm doing it for the Lord. Nothing will stop me from attaining my vision of my future. Because I am a Kingdom builder. I want to elevate all around me and show them that it is the love of God that drives me in what I do in the hope that they will want to come to know Jesus and accept Him as Lord of their lives.
What vision do you have? If it doesn't move you. If it doesn't scare you a little and take you out of your comfort zone, you may want to reassess where your focus is. Because you unequivocally have the ability to create the vision you want for your life and the means to produce it. Decide today to do it. Fire the old you and hire the new one. The one with the true vision of your future.
Live well my friends. ππ¦
Some roads test you.
Some moments break you.
But even when your world feels like it's burning around you, you keep moving forward.
Because giving up was never part of your story.
β€οΈ If you're still standing after everything you've been through, this one's for you.
