In Congress, I didn’t put up with BS.
As Governor, I will be just as relentless: defending our healthcare, our environment, and our democracy against federal overreach while building a California where families—not special interests—come first.

Having spent time with Xavier Becerra on the campaign trail, I know he will stand strong against Donald Trump and look out for Californians across the state. Californians deserve a governor who will fight for our values and bring down costs, not bend the knee to MAGA extremism that will take our state backwards. I look forward to working with my fellow Democratic candidates to elect @XavierBecerra in November.
Over the past 15 months, we traveled the state, knocked on doors, made phone calls, hosted town halls, and heard from Californians who believe in our vision for a more affordable state. California, I will always fight for you.
As Californians head to the ballot box, I'm still the only candidate in this race who has never accepted corporate contributions. Corporations and billionaires have spent hundreds of millions trying to buy this seat, but they can’t buy your vote. You deserve a governor who looks out for you, not special interests.
I’m not a billionaire. I’m not a corporate-backed politician. I’m a single mom who pushes the shopping cart and actually gets what you’re going through. And I know how to make life more affordable for California families.
Californians: Polls are open today from 7 AM to 8 PM. Don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard. Find your nearest polling location here: https://t.co/r2PqNJZ2kP
I've said it since the beginning: I'm in this race for my kids. Californians deserve a candidate who will deliver a better future for California, not more of the status quo.
As a single mom of three teenagers, I worry about whether or not my kids will be able to afford to live in California in the future, and I know I'm not alone. I'm running for Governor to bring down costs for families and make it actually affordable to live here.
This Pride Month, as the Trump administration continues to attack LGBTQ+ Americans and trans youth in particular, we must stand strong against hatred and vitriol and live up to the meaning of Pride—to celebrate who you are. I will always defend the right to love who you love and be who you are.
Like millions of Californians who have already turned in their ballot, I voted this weekend! Californians, Election Day is tomorrow. If you haven't had the chance to vote yet, the time is now!
This is it, California. I'm proud to say that I'm the only candidate in this race who has never accepted corporate contributions, instead receiving over 100,000 individual donations. What happens tomorrow night will determine what we want to see in 2028 and how we will fight back against candidates who are in this for special interests, not Californians.
Oversight is not about pointing fingers. It's about helping government succeed. California's next Governor must be accountable to taxpayers and make sure that our programs are actually working before adding more funding.
Californians deserve a tax structure that puts hardworking families before billionaires and giant corporations. That's why I've proposed a progressive corporate tax that would allow us to give tax relief to struggling businesses and eliminate state income taxes under $100,000.
People who don't have health care don't avoid getting sick. They just end up getting care where it's most expensive: the emergency room. That's why health care everyone can afford and access is so important.
🚨 Too many Californians have yet to make their voice heard in this election. If you needed a sign to vote and turn in your ballot by June 2: this is it. Go vote!
Housing is personal to me. I got my start in public service working under then-Attorney General Kamala Harris protecting families from foreclosure. It's also personal to me because I worry about my kids not being able to afford housing in California in the future. Here's my plan to make housing more affordable as Governor.
