I’ve just restocked @ShropsHillsDC with Shropshire tea towels 😀Representing strength & fortitude, the symbol of an elephant & castle was adopted by the Corbet family & carved into their castle in 1579. A nearby coaching inn also took the name - The Elephant & Castle (Shawbury)

Shrewsbury Morris Dancers danced at the Shropshire County Show yesterday and around town today. I haven’t got todays’ pics yet from @anitathorp but they’ll be good. It’s great weather for Morris Dancers! 🕺💃🎻🪗👍😊

We used to have call ducks but discovered they weren’t very popular with the neighbours.. but runners are quieter ( a bit ) aren’t they.
