I rarely post on X anymore, but I realized my last tweet was about Wukong. I got so frustrated trying to beat Erlang that I quit playing it for several months. Today, I randomly decided to pick it up again and I beat both Erlang and the final boss. Crazy how that happens lol.

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

No recent game has humbled me as much as Back Myth: Wukong. Every time I play, I am reminded that I am nothing more than a monkey with a stick.

Tired of media reporting Hello Kitty as a little human girl. She is an anthropomorphic cat. All due to a mistranslation that seems to have never gotten corrected. She's no different than characters like Mickey Mouse.

Anyways, happy 50th bday to Hello Kitty!

[AFP News Agency @AFP]

'CEO of supercute': Hello Kitty turns 50.

The simple design of the character -- who is not a cat, but a little girl from London according to Sanrio, adorns everything from bags to rice cookers and still makes millions for her Japanese creators

I attended the Nier Ochestra Concert in Washington DC this past weekend. Managed to get VIP meet & greet tickets and got my book signed! All it needs now is a @yokotaro signature!

I was part of this one million (preordered too)! A GOTY contender imo. Being a fan of the original, I can say this remake was everything I could have hoped for and more.

[Konami @Konami]

The SILENT HILL 2 remake has sold more than 1 million copies in a matter of days of its official launch! 🙌

@akiryu26 I think the similarities is probably due to people like Jonathan Nolan who worked on both. He was a writer-producer for both Westworld and Fallout tv show. Westworld’s creators have also said videogames inspired them.

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

@akiryu26 It definitely was. I got to see MUCC & D'espa for the Taste of Chaos Tour (they came to my uni), Girugamesh (came to a small venue outside a major city near me which still amazes me lol), and VAMPS and Rentrer en Soi at anime cons. I might be forgetting someone. I miss it :'(

@_alexdayo My in-laws know my Japanese is crap, so they really don’t care if I use formal or informal with them. I think they just appreciate when I do try to talk to them in Japanese. But I think being married plays a role in this as I’m now considered part of the family.

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

@GaijinMommy Haha well said! That original post annoyed me. I have encountered so many Japanese who sleep in the priority seats like you said. Or let’s not forget the drunk salarymen passed out on the floor of trains that block everyone from sitting and standing 🙄

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

I am still trying to process this. There are not enough words I can fit in one post to convey how much Reita impacted my life since I discovered the GazettE in 2006. I’m so heartbroken reading his last post on here…May he RIP.

@GaijinMommy I visited that Starbucks when Japan was still closed off during the pandemic, so there was hardly anyone in there. Nothing really special about it, just interior looks like an older Japanese house and they had some original gachapon goods. It’s not worth queuing for imo!

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

Going to the @nier_concert ! So excited, haven't been to a game orchestra concert since Distant Worlds. Glory to mankind!

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

Also @Starbucks, it's about time you start offering dairy-free whipped cream alternatives. I've had so many drinks ruined because I or the barista forgot "no whip". It's ridiculous to pay more for non-dairy milk but not be able to enjoy all parts of the drink.

[Kayla Kremer @kayla_kremer]

Wish I could be a part of this lawsuit! I've had to pay extra for dairy-free options my whole life because of my lactose intolerance. The upcharge at @Starbucks is insane. https://t.co/n5AabFiBEC

@akiryu26 Completely forgot how Tokyo didn’t have sick days and we had to use up our regular leave! Hope you feel better soon ❤️
