I think a lot about the alt right movement among young men. There are many, many factors, but high in my mind is that they do not adequately understand how patriarchy dehumanizes and harms them as well. Shirking patriarchy is not simply altruistic for men, it is self liberation.

I personally understand how intense and difficult deprogramming is. I was influenced by stern voices of accountability and gentle voices that taught me I deserved and could be better. I firmly and deeply believe we need both. So that is my pitch for the latter.
