Cricket should be a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
The ECB Anti-Discrimination Regulations help ensure that discrimination has no place in our game, and that appropriate action is taken when it occurs.
Every club, league, volunteer, player and supporter has a part to play in creating positive environments where everyone feels respected and valued.
Together, we can:
Promote respect and inclusion
Challenge discriminatory behaviour
Support safe and welcoming spaces across the game
By working together, we can ensure cricket continues to unite the communities we serve and remains a game for all.

Not everyone can afford new kit every season, and that's exactly why Cric-Kit exists.
If you've got unwanted or unused cricket gear, why not pass it on to someone who'll put it to great use? One donation can make all the difference to someone just starting out or returning to the game.
Join us this Sunday at York Cricket Club for our Cric-Kit event and help us make cricket accessible for everyone across Yorkshire.

Jane Powell - YCCC President | Former Yorkshire & England Batter
Dr Jane Powell has broken barriers at every level of English cricket. During her playing career, she competed as did her twin sister at both county and international level. Jane lifted a county championship with Yorkshire and captained England in a World Cup final before retiring.
Jane has since remained central to the game, serving as a head coach of England Women and the role of Disability Performance Manager at the ECB. She is now an ICC Master Educator and is helping develop a Future Leaders Programme for females around the world. Her contribution to cricket was further recognised with the award of life membership by the Marylebone Cricket Club.
She made history as the first female President in Yorkshire County Cricket Club's history and hopes to inspire more women to pursue leadership roles in the sport.
Catch our full International Women's Day video this Sunday to hear more from Jane and others about their inspiring journeys in cricket.
Each day this week we will be focusing on women in cricket with a connection to YCCC, YCF and the community to celebrate International Women's Day. Today, we're highlighting Jasmine Nicholls and her inspiring journey in cricket.
Jasmine became the first female to join the Grounds Team at Yorkshire County Cricket Club, a role that quickly became a dream career. Since then, she has been part of major moments, including The Ashes at Headingley, England v Australia at Edgbaston, and producing her first training pitch used by Ben Stokes.
In 2024, Jasmine made history by producing the first cricket pitch at Headingley prepared by a female groundsperson, ahead of England Women v Pakistan Women. She was later recognised nationally, winning the ECB BOCA Rising Star Award.
Jasmine’s story is a brilliant example of breaking new ground, on and off the pitch.
