We are concerned that language in the proposed European Cyber Resilience Act may cause problems for public open source repositories like the ones we host. Please read and share: https://t.co/ovMcSnH6bc
Amazing. We already had Stable Diffusion, now #opensource RLHF trained GPT based chat assistants are here. You can do your own AI alignment research now!
🔥EVERYONE🔥We’re excited to announce the release of OpenAssistant.
The future of AI development depends heavily on high quality datasets and models being made publicly available, and that’s exactly what this project does.

It looks like the #AI hype is real this time, people. This chatbot #ChatGPT is going to save me some time for sure. In this example, I had been googling unsuccessfully for a good set of HTML/CSS cheatsheets to use in the classroom. #ChatGPT happily produces them in Dutch for me.
@bert_hu_bert How about CBOR? It's the binary cousin of JSON and most major programming languages have libraries for reading/writing it. https://t.co/nPjLKgoh5Q
Thank you, @github and @Microsoft for creating #Codespaces and #devcontainers (https://t.co/hBxSSdEb7s) and making this available for education for free! Makes it so much easier to teach computer science in high school, where kids often don't bring much more than old Chromebooks.
@pmzakrzewski Yes humans 😊, but long before that, mostly micro-organisms like algae and later trees, forests, whales etc. This is from the comments on the book in Amazon but you can find many earth system science papers on these topics too. I like the whale story: https://t.co/F01ipHrkbc
Interesting to read this rant by James Lovelock, the inventor of the Gaia theory which postulates that the earth's climate is not an accident but regulated by living organisms. His earlier books are better, but he has a point about nuclear energy. The Vanishing Face of Gaia, 2009
Dutch parliament session #TK with @rivm@statistiekcbs abt scientific research on excess mortality. Bottom line: The Netherlands is far behind other countries like UK, Denmark & Belgium in realtime linking of data. Time to put #FAIR#openscience in action! https://t.co/zZrfpxrp3D
I've seen many introduction to #Bioinformatics & Biology talks over the years, but this one by @bert_hu_bert at #MCH2022 definitely stands out with its funny and original approach. Highly recommended, esp. for programmers looking for an up to date intro: https://t.co/aG1DlByirY
This one is by @bert_hubert .
Any talk from Bert is epic stuff. This one did not disappoint!
Lot's of humor, but seriously fascinating.

As I put on the #EthAmsterdam feedback form, I believe there is software to assign judging slots randomly to the teams, and notify us on Discord when we are due?
The worst part of an @ETHGlobal hackathon: after you have just hacked through the night, you have to stand in line with your team for hours to get into a judging session. That, and the @LensProtocol testnet API breaking down at 2 AM 😭 Oh well..first world problems, have fun all!
Another massive @ETHGlobal hackathon kicking off: #ETHNewYork! Always nice to see so many people excited to build - if nothing else Ethereum makes for a thriving community. With many young developers bootstrapping their own career here. #ETHNYC
