Black women are the base of the Democratic Party. That's the reason why Democratic candidates cater to them. Because they vote consistently in every election. Groups that don't vote consistently don't get their interests consistently addressed.

Trump did everything wrong (34 felony convictions, 2 impeachments, sexual assault judgment, insurrection, debate loss, and even simulated sex acts on stage), and it did not matter to the majority of white voters, including 52% of white women who voted for him anyway.
