Minnesota Attorney General | Fighting to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity. Prepared and paid for by Keith Ellison for Attorney General.
I’ve spent my life fighting to make Minnesota a fairer place where everyone can live with dignity, safety, and respect.
From lowering drug costs to holding corporations accountable, I’ll always stand up for Minnesotans.
Campaigns aren’t built from the top down.
They’re built by neighbors knocking doors, volunteers making calls, and people showing up for each other.
Join us June 9 at 5:30 PM as we launch the field campaign and get to work building the Minnesota we deserve.

Join me and my team this Tuesday at 5:30 PM for our official field launch to kick off a summer of conversations and engaging neighbors!
No matter if you've never volunteered with a campaign before, or are a well-seasoned door knocker/phone banker, you are needed to help carry our message about the fight to Afford Your Life! https://t.co/mPf65hjPOj
Nicole's story should be one no family should ever have to live through. I'm grateful for her courage in sharing Alec's story and fighting alongside me so we can make sure no family suffers that loss.
No one should lose someone they love simply because they couldn't afford to take the medicine they need to live.
Operation Metro Surge hurt our small businesses and workers.
That wasn’t public safety. It was reckless federal overreach that made it even harder for people to afford their lives. https://t.co/oPYkR0H1xh
No matter what part of Minnesota you're in, we all need to eat. So when companies conspire to drive up food prices, it hurts each and every one of us.
We're already getting squeezed by rising gas prices, energy bills, and so much more. Nobody deserves to be price gouged on their food too. Glad to have gotten this settlement to help more Minnesotans afford their lives.

As the People’s Lawyer, my job is helping Minnesotans afford their lives.
I've capped insulin prices at $35, cracked down on price gouging, secured millions for renters targeted by algorithmic pricing, taken on opioid companies, beaten Ticketmaster/Live Nation — and more. There’s lots more to come.
Nearly six years ago, George Floyd was murdered. Afterwards, AG @keithellison successfully prosecuted his killer, Derek Chauvin.
This past weekend, the MN GOP held a moment of silence for Chauvin.
Proud to officially file for reelection as Minnesota’s Attorney General.
We’ve taken on corporate power, protected our rights, defended working people, and fought for Minnesotans every step of the way.
And together, we’re going to build a Minnesota where we can all afford our lives.
Honoring the man convicted of murdering George Floyd the week of the anniversary is frankly shocking. Chauvin was convicted by a jury of his peers and was affirmed through every appeal. It shows cruelty to the Floyd family and disrespect to our courts and all Minnesotans. No one is above the law.
Minnesota Republican Party Chair Alex Plechash defends MNGOP's moment of silence for Derek Chauvin at their convention: "There are a lot of people I think that believe Derek Chauvin was improperly convicted and not treated well, and those people wanted to have a moment of silence in recognition because they felt that way."
(Note that Plechash goes on to refuse to say whether he agrees it was a good idea.)
Pride is celebration. Pride is resistance. Pride is community.
This month and every month, I’m proud to stand with LGBTQIA+ Minnesotans, especially our trans neighbors who continue to face relentless attacks simply for being who they are.
I’ve spent my career fighting to protect your rights, defend your freedoms, and make sure Minnesota remains a place where everyone can live openly, safely, and with dignity.
Because when they come for one of us, they’re taking on all of us.
Happy Pride, Minnesota 🏳️🌈
The JFK Profile in Courage Award is being presented tonight to the people of the Twin Cities, honoring residents who risked their safety during operation metro surge.
All Twin Citians who stood up for immigrant rights, due process, and the promise of equal protection: thank you for your courage.
Congratulations to @amyklobuchar and @benschierer on earning the DFL endorsement for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. Minnesota needs leaders who know how to bring people together, solve problems, and deliver results. Looking forward to working together to keep moving our state forward.
I'm so grateful to every member of Team Peggy.
This movement belongs to all of us who are ready for a country that works for everyone, not just billionaires and corporations.
And we're just getting started.
Had a great time hosting breakfast with @MNSteveSimon and @PPact.
We’re fired up to protect reproductive freedom, defend access to the ballot box, and uphold the Constitution. Full speed ahead to November.
I’m honored to earn the DFL endorsement today. I’ve spent my career fighting for working people, families, and communities across Minnesota.
I’m ready to keep fighting for them.
