350 Stelco steelworkers are losing their jobs in Hamilton, following major job losses at Algoma Steel and ArcelorMittal. This is another devastating blow for Canadian workers, their families, and our steel industry.
The Prime Minister needs to turn his rhetoric into reality and deliver for steelworkers who cannot fill their gas tanks with signing ceremonies or pay their mortgages in speeches.
We must unleash Canadian businesses with the fastest permits, lowest taxes, and freest economy so they can hire, make, grow, invent, and build right here at home. Conservatives will continue to fight every day to save Canadian jobs and deliver an affordable, safe, and independent country.
This is exactly why criminals don’t get rehabilitated in prison.
The Liberal government helps them do dangerous, addictive drugs in prison that make them even more violent when they come out.
My solution: zero tolerance for drugs in prison. Drug criminals must undergo regular drug tests to earn release, and isolation for prison drug kingpins.
Drug-free prisoners will focus on skill-building & rehabilitation so they can be good citizens on release.
A mob blocked a synagogue on Yom Kippur. A CBC journalist filmed it. He is now off the air and under investigation.
CBC's own ombudsman ruled that lived experience is not a conflict of interest, and that it deepens their journalism. That standard apparently does not extend to Jewish journalists.
Taxpayers fund this.

So it’s not a national security risk to disclose extremely hypothetical war planning to the New York Times.
But it does pose a national security risk to disclose before Parliament a deal he walked away from?
On behalf of millions of anxious Canadians for whom this isn’t a Liberal political game, we have many, many questions.

Why is Canada paying more for diesel than most around the world, when we have the 4th largest oil supply on earth?
Eliminate ALL Liberal taxes on diesel to save you money on food, supplies, and everything else that moves by truck: https://t.co/n5sYnbfWBD
Two weeks ago, Prime Minister @MarkJCarney said Canada was in an economic war with the U.S.
Now he wants a potash “bloc” with them.
Which is it?
Serious policy, or theatre for the polls?
One day, Carney says Canada is at war with the U.S.
The next, he calls to form a bloc with them.
He’s all over the map.
Is this all just because he tries to capitalize from the political theatre?
A year and a half ago, the media told you that Mark Carney had introduced a sweeping new law to get projects built.
All it built was a new government department that has still not approved a single new project.
Big talk. No results.
Now, the media is telling you that he is introducing a “sweeping new bill” to get things built. How many times will they hype up these grand announcements resulting in nothing?
Like everything else he does, Carney’s so-called “deepening ties with the EU” is all talk and no results.
We already have a free trade deal with the EU, but he has failed to get the needed 27 European countries to ratify it. He held another overhyped meeting with Macron the other day, but couldn’t even get the French to ratify that trade deal we already have.
It is all show and no go.
Meanwhile here at home, people cannot afford groceries, gas, and mortgages.
46 years ago, Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope across Canada to raise money and awareness for cancer research.
And so today, thousands of Canadians will remember this hero by joining the Terry Fox Run.
May we honour his legacy by carrying that hope forward, one step at a time.
Sachin turned his own battle with mental health into a mission to help others.
What started with running to find his own way forward became ultramarathons across Canada, bringing people together and giving those fighting silent battles a reminder that they don’t have to face them alone.
Over $200,000 raised for mental health. And he’s not finished.

After a year of speeches, summits, and symbolic signing ceremonies, what are the results for real people in their real lives?
49% of Ontarians feeling less financially secure.
Conservatives have a plan to fight for people to be able to afford food, fuel, and homes.
Let's get them real results: https://t.co/FKCwB2PnNC
I’m sure I remember several commentators dismissing this past weekend’s WSJ report as inaccurate, then proceeded to scold anyone for reacting to it.
Given the denials issued by the PMO clean-up crew and PM Carney himself, Ms. von der Leyen surely intended to describe a "unique alliance" with Canada and not suggest “associate membership” in the EU.
Question from Canadians who didn’t get the story from their own media in the first place: Why the outright lie by the Prime Minister?
B'nai Brith Canada strongly condemns the destruction of mezuzot that occurred during Rosh Hashanah at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.
This disturbing incident reflects the growing normalization of hate on university campuses across Canada. Jewish students, faculty, and community members deserve to feel safe expressing their identity without fear of intimidation or targeting.
We are in contact with the Waterloo Regional Police and the University, and appreciate their attention to this matter. Hate-motivated incidents must be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly, and met with meaningful consequences.
This incident also underscores the importance of stronger protections for religious communities and religious property. We support the private members' bills advanced by @KellyBlockmp and @GarnettGenuis aimed at strengthening legal protections for religious property and helping deter acts of hate and vandalism.
Universities have a responsibility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all of their students, this requires confronting antisemitism and all forms of hatred. We stand with the Jewish community at Wilfrid Laurier University and call on the University’s administration to condemn these heinous incidents and to take decisive action.
