Urijah Faber discusses pay in @RAFWrestlingUSA:
“The pay is important... You can make as much as a doctor or a lawyer if you have four or five matches in a year.
That’s never been heard of, and that’s why people are going to be tuning in. There’s going to be bigger hype, and this thing is going to have a lot of success.”
Mitchell Mesenbrink is not registered for the 2026 U.S. Open, and appears to have camps lined up during the World Team Trials window, all signs point to him sitting out the freestyle season rather than making a run at this year’s World Team.
More than anything, it looks like one of the biggest names in college wrestling may be pressing pause on freestyle for now.
New record🥇
The Artemis II astronauts are now farther from Earth than humans have ever been! At 1:57 p.m. EDT, they broke the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970.
Their journey around the far side of the Moon today will take them a maximum distance of 252,752 miles from Earth.
Victor Glover wrestled at Cal Poly. On April 1 he piloted Artemis II — the first crewed lunar mission in 50 years — becoming the first person of color to travel beyond low Earth orbit.
Walking in space was the second hardest thing he’s ever done.
