[Fresh Selects @FreshSelects]

This week marks 10 years of Fresh Selects as a label (!!!)

We’ll be celebrating the anniversary all year long in 2024 with new vinyl (yes we’ve heard your requests!), remix projects, and, as always, new music we love

Looking forward 🫡

(And thank you!)

@skyyreturns the claim is that the song was written FOR Drake. thats what a reference track is. Drake was meant to take these lyrics and re-sing them, which he did. he just didnt pay/give credit for them.

[K— F— @kennyfresh]

@TheGroovyFiles how could it not be true?

[sheesh @notsheesh01]

Drake Copyright Lawsuit: Hear the Song at the Center of “Janice STFU” Dispute Details: https://t.co/rvAg8tq77X

[HipHopKlipz36 @hiphopklipz36]

😳The original version of STFU Janice, written by Grammy award winning writer/producer ✍️Aviel Hirschfield has been leaked - via Complex

🎶The hook is identical to the one Drake used on his version, for his only # 1 song in almost three years.

👩🏾‍⚖️⚖️Avi is suing Drake as he did not get writing credits, points on the album, or any for of payment for his original song - The two have collaborated on songs previously.

[K— F— @kennyfresh]

@GOODBROTHERLYZM second the album came out the original writers were claiming it proudly too! all the homies were reposting and sharing it all over their stories, genuinely thinking it was a placement they'd landed bc the credits weren't included at first. then the credits got updated...... 🙂‍↔️
