Calgary Police are looking for information on a sexual assault that occurred in Fish Creek Park near Mallard Point on May 23. Suspect is described as late teens to early 20s, approx. 6’ tall, with a light skin tone & short, shaggy blond hair. At the time of this incident, he was seen wearing a black hoodie with a colourful graphic on the side & blue jeans. At the time of the assault, the suspect was riding a Black BMX bike.

Since this is believed to be related to earlier incidents this year, our office is advising everyone to exercise caution if you are walking in the area of Mallard Point and Sue Higgins Bridge:

👥 There is safety in numbers. Walking with a friend or a pet is always safer than walking alone.

☀️ Visibility is much better during the day, be sure to keep walks to when the sun is out.

👂/👁️ Be sure to stay aware of your surroundings. Walk without headphones or ear buds and stay off of phones.

📞 If you see anything suspicious, be sure to contact the authorities. This includes Calgary Police, [phone], and Crimestoppers, 1-800-222-8477, along with the emergency line at 911.

Anyone with information about this or any of the previous assaults should contact Calgary Police or Crimestoppers at the above numbers.
