Stockton high school students spent their morning gathered together in prayer over our city, our schools, our county, and our nation.

This weekend, the @StocktonPolice department made 13 arrests and recovered $2,569 in stolen merchandise.

If you witness retail crime taking place, report it to Stockton PD.

Together, we will prevent, apprehend, and prosecute retail crime in Stockton.

Retail theft will not be tolerated in Stockton.

This morning, the Stockton Takes Action Against Retail Theft (S.T.A.A.R.T.) Program launched 20 billboards throughout San Joaquin County, making our collective message clear: “The community is watching. If you steal, we prosecute.”

Today our nation witnessed a senseless, violent attack on former President Trump. Innocent bystanders were injured and lives were lost. I am appalled at this brazen act of violence and my prayers are with President Trump, the victims, and their families.

🚨Next Tuesday, July 9th🚨 an informational update on the topic of camping in public spaces and the recent Grants Pass v. Johnson Supreme Court ruling will be provided during the Stockton City Council Meeting.

The life, legacy, and courage of Rosa Parks is now memorialized for all of Stockton to see as this bus services our city. May this remind us all to “never be fearful of what you are doing when it is right.”

35 years later our community is still healing from the impact of the Cleveland Elementary School shooting.

5 young lives were lost, 32 people injured, and hundreds of families forever changed that day.

We will never forget.
