Dan Tana's, opened in 1964, became one of Hollywood's most famous celebrity hangouts. Known for its old-school Italian-American menu and private atmosphere, the restaurant attracted generations of actors, directors, musicians, and athletes who valued its discretion as much as its food.

Between 1994 and 2000, Jim Carrey became the first actor to earn $20 million for a single film, while Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and Ben Stiller each went on to build careers that have individually generated more than $2 billion at the global box office.
