@StBlitzkrieg@AdamMcCalvy@smichaelis234 The other reason I thought it had a prayer is Gunnar is two years from free agency at 8.5M is batting .224/.287/.419 for a .706 OPS with Scott Boras as an agent.
@StBlitzkrieg@AdamMcCalvy@smichaelis234 Yeah. I definitely undersold. However if I were some other team I would want a number of these guys thrown in. Plus Gunnar Henderson is underperforming hard this year at $8.5M.
Ultimately if I was a bad team I would want to poach the young underperforming guys on good teams.
@WiSports22@dekker People either dont understand splits or willfully ignorant.
Q: Why isn’t Vaughn playing every day?
A: he has a .649 OPS against right handers
He has monster game against left-hander in the most hitter friendly park the league will see this year.
Seeeeee.
🤦♂️
@StealthCryptoSS@athleticBsK@MLB 5 MPH? The guy is 31 years old. He has spent parts of 6 seasons with 4 different organizations not including two years of D1 college, 10 years of minor league instruction in a dozen different organizations INCLUDING THE BREWERS AAA TEAM.
Nobody thought to say grip it this way?
@1984_is_today@KRL_defi_ At 3% borrowing rate it is smart. At 7.5% you go broke fast.
Rich people borrow against assets usually to create more assets.
I agree 100% with Dave on this one.
@benkimpap@Wisconsin_fam Holmgren Era Favre was easily the best version of Favre. He was bigger than every other coach. Holmgren kept Favre’s confidence in check. The Iron man thing was also real in the 90s. Rarely did a QB play multiple full seasons in a row.
@benkimpap@Wisconsin_fam For a number of seasons Favre had no peer. I guess people just needed to live through it. There was a reason John Madden lost his “stuff” every time he had a Packer game. Love them both as football players.
@drewdamn87@theaceofspaeder Why should we ignore Bond’s baseball stats from 2001-2004? The press, owners, and coaches ignored the steroid threat to everyday players from 1994-2000. Everyone created the environment where steroids were expected and cheered.
@nolan_boolin Skenes has a 2.17 career ERA in 68 starts and just turned 24 years old 9 days ago. If I need a starter for the rest of the season I would take Miz or Skenes. That is just me.
Sanchez has the numbers this year. However I think Miz and Skenes are another tier above.
@TheB1GTerp@ademangone@KySportsRadio This. The power is in the school brand not the individual players. Players can transcend and become popular but the power at the non top level is in the school. It is the NBDL vs college. The NBDL probably has better talent. Why not the higher ratings?
@DanielJone3613@Johnny_Barks A top 3 television market is a different beast than the Canton Bulldogs, Columbus Panhandles or Mucie Fliers.
Again the Green Bay Packers did what they had to do to survive. They haven’t had to do that in 30 years. The Chicago Bears shouldn’t have to move states in 2026.
@DanielJone3613@Johnny_Barks They kept a team in the worst of times. They were always the GREEN BAY Packers. The only original team that can say they never changed their name.
The NFL is now in the best of times and Chicago can’t keep their team in state. The Green Bay Packers are now a model franchise.
@DanielJone3613@Johnny_Barks Because they are Wisconsin’s team and they were a black hole for money. That is why there was never an owner. Every other original team moved or folded. The Akron Pros, Canton Bulldogs, Decatur Staleys all gone or moved. Only Green Bay stayed in their original town.
@TheBrewCrewFeed I mean Woodruff and Priester are our 1 and 2. They have been out all season. Logan Henderson and Chad Patrick are Depth that have been great all year.
Drohan has had a couple decent starts.
Gasser’s last start was good after a year on the DL.
@HotVBall@dekker The Brewers were 19-7 in May (best in majors) while facing the Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs when they were in first and Cardinals.
There are many arguments to use but “at the expense of winning” isn’t one of them.
