Had a productive interaction with Mr.Stefan B. Wintels, Chief Executive Officer of KfW Bankengruppe, on further strengthening @KfW’s partnership in India’s energy transition. We reviewed KfW’s impactful contributions to India’s #CleanEnergy journey, including large-scale support for solar deployment, grid modernisation, development of the Green Energy Corridor and private-sector investments, and discussed plans to significantly scale up investments in the coming years.

We also explored collaboration opportunities across renewable energy expansion, green hydrogen and electrolyser manufacturing, transmission and distribution modernisation, energy storage, industrial decarbonisation, e-mobility, and gas infrastructure, aligned with India’s goal of achieving 500 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 and building a resilient, low-carbon energy system. #WEF2026 #Davos
