@johnrich As a Gold Star sister, I can honestly say--this is what my brother fought and died for. He loved this country and the freedoms it affords, and would have loved watching your son's curve ball with you!
August 15, 2004: my brother 2 LT Goins (left) and SPC Zapata (right) both gave their lives in defense of their country. "When the armies of the enemy surround me, I will not be afraid. When death calls for me in the midst of war, my soul is confident and unmoved." (Psalm 27:3)
@Sierra_rak Mom of 5...I went to get a towel and there were none, so I had my kids get every towel from their rooms. When there were 27 (no joke) towels in a pile in front of me, I lost it and told them I was no longer responsible for their laundry. Haven't regretted it a day!
@CrenshawPhD I had a professor in my Medical Physics PhD program tell me my priorities were wrong because my kids (then ages 5 and 3) came before my studies. This was while I was making all As and Bs in the program. I left that program for a Masters in Physics and Education...don't regret it.
"He entered our world, a world He made; yet the world did not recognize Him. Even though He came to His own people, they refused to listen and receive Him. But for all who did receive and trust in Him, He gave them the right to be reborn as children of God"
(John 1:10-12)
Did you know that you don't have to listen to "experts" and those who consider themselves "elite"? You don't have to care what celebrities think? You don't have to go along with things just because somebody says so?
Stop letting people who hate you control you.
@CyberKnight1@FixingEducation Imagine the shock when our son didn't do the assignment, then we made him do it and turn it in to the teacher while insisting he not get credit (it was more than a week late, which is a zero at our school), simply because he has to learn to do what is required of him.
