I don’t know how much longer I’ll be on this app. Information is important, but let’s be crystal clear as we look to next steps:
‼️This is not a safe place to organize.‼️
There are a million apps that will come and go, but you can always find me at https://t.co/fcz5uqhW5k
🏛️ FEDS TARGET HARVARD: The Trump administration is investigating nearly $9 billion in Harvard grants and contracts over its handling of campus protests. A similar review forced Columbia to change policies to keep funding. Details in today’s Here's What’s Happening.
📉 MARKETS DROP AHEAD OF TRUMP TARIFFS: Trump calls April 2nd "Liberation Day," promising new tariffs to "free the U.S. from foreign goods." He won’t say which goods—except a 25% tax on foreign cars. Investors are bracing for impact. More on today’s Here's What’s Happening.

Rudy Giuliani remains one of the very few people who have seen any consequences for the 1/6 insurrection.
Meanwhile, the one that orchestrated it just had their election certified.
Cool country. No notes.
Six @Delta flights in nine days. Here’s what I can tell you:
Seats are uncomfortable.
Online/phone customer service is miserable.
Planes are old.
But the in-person customer service? The people on the ground? Every single person (minus one) has been genuinely exceptional.
Been talking on the phone/text/in person with @Delta customer service off and on for two days, and I don’t know why it’s so difficult to get my problem fixed but I don’t think their chat bot helps…
To everyone who is afraid of what happens next, I share your fears. But what we do next is important.
We have to learn from what happened. And then, make a plan. As we confront a second Trump presidency, here’s a path forward: 🧵
Swalwell: If a young woman in Florida, where a six-week ban is now law, can get up today and find her way through, we can too. And if a soldier in a trench in eastern Ukraine, who just saw their best ally walk away, can keep fighting, we can too. And if a high school student, who’s going to school today in a country that arms mass shooters to the teeth, can get through it, we can too. It doesn’t feel good to lose—it sucks. I hate it, and I hate what this winner says about our country and the people who make it great, but we have work to do. We’ve dealt with this guy before; he’s a one-term president coming in and in serious cognitive decline. We’re not helpless—we’re privileged to be among those who can do something.
