Driver of car shot/killed by LAPD on Sunset Blvd. yesterday - after police say he rammed patrol car, was wearing bullet proof vest & had hand behind back - is from Rhode Island. His family confirms he was also shot by police in 2018 there after pulling fake gun on a cop @NBCLA
