Liquid's Discord has a big update and this is the kind of change I like to see.

Our new CM completely changed the role system and made it a lot easier.

But more importantly, he made it a lot more focused on actual trading.

Now it’s basically:

Inner Circle ⮕ top traders and creators who get real value and real perks;

Contributor ⮕ people who actually add something meaningful;

👀 ⮕ early signal that you’re on the right track;

One role per person. No clutter.

And the best part?

No place for role farmers anymore.

This isn't for you if you're only farming roles or airdrops and not using the product.

It's clear now what the goal is: real users, real trading and real contributions.

I really like this direction.

Fewer roles, less noise and more signal. It brings together a lot more people who really care about trading and Liquid.

I’d also like to highlight a new channel - "strategy".

People are sharing really interesting ideas, breakdowns and ways to approach trades.

You can pick up insights, refine your own thinking, or even follow a call, but obviously always DYOR.

Overall, the vibe has shifted.

More focus on trading, analytics and meaningful discussions.

Less spam, more value.

And from what I see, this is just the beginning.

[LIQUID] - [ROLE SYSTEM UPDATE]

Changes to the role system are currently underway.

Yesterday, @f1nk1r shared some information about the changes we can expect:

➣ One key point is that there’s no place for role farmers in Liquid.

The system will be designed so that the primary focus is on using the app.

You can also forget about pointless chat messages like: “how was your day?”, “what did you eat today?” and so on.

Discussions about trades, the market and similar topics are always welcome.

➣ All previous roles have been converted to their new equivalents.

Now there are only 3 contribution roles instead of 23.

➣ Inner Circle is another new feature.

We’ll learn more about it very soon and a new role: “👀🏆” has also been introduced.

➣ The system now looks like this:

👀 -> contributor -> inner circle

An announcement with a detailed overview of the new system is supposed to be released on Monday, so we’ll know for sure how everything will work then.

But overall, I like everything so far.

The community atmosphere is pleasant and the focus will be on the product itself - which is great.

By the way, a new video contest is live, I recommend participating (there are nice cash prizes).

Selected Ambassadors got early access to test the new validation platform, where humans act as Data Validators, reviewing real Teleoperation episodes and scoring them to improve training data quality for foundation models.
