Happy Birthday to David Oldfield, who is 58 today
It was John Moore who spotted David playing in the Chiltern Youth Leagues and he'd sign professional terms in 1986, going on to make 178 appearances over two spells and scoring 32 goals.

Remembering Marc North, on what would have been his 60th birthday.
Ware-born Marc started life at Luton as a goalkeeper before moving to play as a forward. Sadly he passed away in September 2001, at the age of just 35.

Remembering a club great, and adopted Lutonian, Wally Shanks, who was born OTD in 1923.
Shanks formed part of a much feared half back line with Syd Owen and Bob Morton. He would later form the Shanks and Turner sports shops, and owned a newsagents.

It's our final Top Hatters programme article tomorrow (maybe!), and the one and only Gordon Turner is the subject.
With 276 goals for the club, 102 of which were scored in the top flight, Gordon is not only a Luton legend, but one of the finest English players of all time.
