Healthcare does not just belong to the doctor; it directly affects every Kenyan. Actually, a doctor's working condition is a direct reflection of a patient’s outcome 🏥
Dear younger brothers and sisters,Parents and guardians,IGNORE those useless degree courses called BSc Clinical Medicine,BSc Oral Health,BSc Optometry,BSc Ophthalmology and all the BSc that have Diploma options in KMTC!!
You are going to waste your four years with NOTHING differentiating you from your Diploma colleagues.
Instead do a diploma in them or BSc in Nursing if you must do a degree course.
Secondly try doing A BACHELORS IN SPECIAL EDUCATION,YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!
They are on demand in America like crazy....am speaking as an American-Kenyan,so don't argue with me kama hauna hata passport.

#CBA MEETING | KISII COUNTY: The consultative meeting held today, 8 July 2026, between the KMPDU Nyanza Branch leadership and the Kisii County leadership, chaired by the Deputy Governor, marks a significant step in resolving the pending labour disputes affecting Kisii members. This high-level deliberation successfully addressed the following critical issues:
1. Pending Promotions: The Union branch leadership and the county government outlined a roadmap to process long-overdue advancements for eligible KMPDU members immediately.
2. Redesignations: Plans were evaluated to ensure appropriate career-progression job adjustments for consultants and specialized doctors immediately.
3. Salary Delays: The county administration provided commitments to minimize recurring salary and benefit settlement delays that have caused financial hardship. The Union reiterated its served notice on members' actions on the 5th, 10th, and 15th of the succeeding month if salaries and benefits are not settled.
This dialogue aims to prevent potential service disruptions and ensure stable healthcare delivery across Kisii County.

🎙️ Before We Move On...
A healthy debate is always welcome. Different perspectives enrich the conversation, but they do not always change the facts.
That is why I believe every profession in Kenya today wishes it had a KMPDU speaking for them. It is a moment we should receive with both pride and humility.
