KODANSHA INDIA officially launched with a celebration party in Delhi.
The new company is a joint venture between Kodansha, Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd., and IJ Kakehashi Services Pvt. Ltd. This is the first time a comprehensive Japanese publisher has set up a local subsidiary in India to bring printed books and manga directly to local readers. It was an honor to welcome many of our partners and stakeholders, making it a truly memorable beginning.
We look forward to delivering countless stories and inspiration to everyone in India.

To the fans in India who have been patiently waiting, we will announce the lineup by early October. Thank you so much for your continued support!

Today, September 9th, marks the very first officially recognized Attack on Titan Day in Japan, newly certified by the Japan Anniversary Association. We are proud to step forward as the first Japanese publisher to launch local operations in #India.
This July, we're establishing a joint venture, Kodansha India Pvt Ltd., with Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. and IJ Kakehashi Services Pvt Ltd. Starting this autumn, we are pleased to begin sharing localized editions of hit manga titles such as Attack on Titan and BLUE LOCK directly with fans across the country.
