Kozo Girls is a Zambian enterprise making beautiful, reusable menstrual pads. They aim to provide free pads to as many schoolgirls in Zambia as possible.
It's #MHDay2019 & we have been busy spreading this year's messages - #ItsTimeForAction & #NoMoreLimits in #Zambia! This morning we led discussions with schoolgirls at Chawama Primary School, where @giz_gmbh will also be distributing Kozo Pads to 100 lucky girls.
Volunteers are everything! Our fabulous auntie Dot has been with us since day one, committed to helping us improve the quality and consistency of our pads. We heart you, Dot. #SocEnt#menstruationmatters#WomanCrushWednesday
Waaza talking to grade 6 girls at Lusaka International Community School about the challenges facing girls growing up in Lusaka's compounds, without easy access to running water, flushing toilets, and menstrual pads. Great discussion, questions, and interest! #menstruationmatters

@missbwalya We're with you @missbwalya! The aid debate is complex, but GRZ should be held to account, not young girls by denying them free pads to stay in school. The added advantage of the washable pads we make in #Zambia: they're giving the young women who make them a livelihood :)
Great meeting today with @IrelandinZambia & their partners @Camfed & Zambia Open Community Schools (https://t.co/k7uB9hKy91) to discuss reaching more school girls in Zambia with reusable pads. We hope this is the start of a beautiful collaboration! #SocEnt#menstruationmatters
