A space that celebrates Kuvempu’s literary legacy, thoughts and love for Kannada, adding to Bengaluru’s rich and diverse cultural landscape.

For the first time ever in Bengaluru, Independence Day is going to be celebrated with citizens at the heart of the festivities.

Had a great chat with influencers and content creators, exchanging ideas on making the celebrations more engaging, inclusive and truly people-driven.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ, ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಕೇಂದ್ರಬಿಂದುವಾಗಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರೇ ಇರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ನೈಜ ಜನೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನಾಗಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಟೆಂಟ್ ಕ್ರಿಯೇಟರ್‌ಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಹಲವು ಹೊಸ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.

ಬೆಸ್ಕಾಂ ತಂಡಗಳು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಾದ್ಯಂತ ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು, ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮರ್‌ಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಬೇಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಂತಸದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ.

ಪಾದಚಾರಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ, ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಇಲಾಖೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದತ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಸೋಣ.

It’s encouraging to see BESCOM teams working across Bengaluru to remove idle poles, shift transformer fences and clear obstacles from footpaths.

Every agency has a role to play in making our footpaths safer, cleaner and more walkable. Together, let’s keep working towards a Better Bengaluru.
