Throughout my term as Human Rights Commissioner, I've seen again & again that Australians value fairness, equality and inclusion. Our challenge is to keep these values as our lodestar - even when this is hard.

ICYMI... last month, a Dutch court made a landmark ruling on unfair automated decisions, and the right of affected people to have human oversight and appeal rights. Here in Australia, we are grappling with how to ensure decisions using #AI are fair and accountable.
