I made a quick 30 minute nature-photography stop while heading to a sprint car race the other day. I was hoping to find a Green Heron there. I got lucky when I found this one really close to the path, walking in like a boss.

Big fan of Whip Mulligan & was hoping to join his fan club in '70.Inquired about it with @aarn in '71 & they said that the club wasn't active.Never did get the chance to own a Mulligan Fan Club card.
55 yrs later,I finally have a Whip Mulligan Fan Club card. 😀(found on eBay)
