New #recipeoftheday time and my take on bang bang cauliflower in a glorious spicy sauce, it's quick too, this will go from your cupboard to your table in around 30 minutes.

New #recipeoftheday time and a simply cooked chicken breast in a creamy cider and mustard sauce with garlic and thyme, there's no "wizz bang" here, just simple cooking techniques and classic flavours.

We had the opportunity to take a look around the @BurnleyEmpire theatre this morning and the rescue efforts to breathe life into a fab space with loads of history. It's been maybe 20 odd years since I've donned a hard hat and a hi-vis vest 🤣
New #recipeoftheday time and a delicious, quick and easy satay chicken curry that will go from your fridge to your table in right around 30 minutes.

@jennysmortstar@RateMySausage Yeah, Gary Rhodes served it as a starter without the toast, but big chunky toast makes it a fantastic eat-at-home grub.
We are lucky to have an awesome fishmonger in town and it's my favourite place to go shopping 😉
@RateMySausage This isn't new but an old Smoked Haddock rarebit I did a while back (inspired by Gary Rhodes).
Smoked haddock (AO Seafoods), doorstop bread, beef tomatoes, and a rarebit sauce rocking Worcestershire Sauce, English mustard, mature cheddar, and Beltie on Nitro (Porter).
New #recipeoftheday time and a bit of old school autumnal grub, Scotch Broth, a lamb soup loaded with veggies and pearl barley, a perfect dish for the changing season.

New #recipeoftheday time and something a little autumnal, a delicious, frugal and comforting minced beef and onion hotpot, proper wholesome simple grub!

#newrecipeofthedayof the day time and something very fitting with the sharp downturn of weather this week... a delicious and spicy miso udon noodle soup with silken tofu and shiitake mushrooms.

Brand new #recipeoftheday time and my take on a king prawn katsu curry, massive prawns breaded and fried served with an easy homemade Japanese influenced curry sauce... this is properly delicious grub!
@marktheman2010 It's a nice story but sadly untrue, the first reference to the word shot being used in reference to a measure of booze dates back to the mid 1600's.
My ad hoc sarnie Saturday #newrecipeoftheday is back and this weekend I've got a bostin' steak and stilton sandwich with caramelised onions and pepper rocket... you are welcome 😁

New #recipeoftheday and something a little French that looks very British... Hachis Parmentier is my take on a French take on cottage or shepherd's pie and like all spud-topped pies, it's magic!

New #recipeoftheday time and I'm kicking off the week with a fakeaway and my take on chicken chop suey, as the name suggests there is plenty of chopping to prep for this, but cooking is done and dusted in under 10 minutes.
