This is what passes for the self serve bar at the Air France lounge JFK terminal one-I am especially intrigued by the Italian vodka cause I don't think I've ever seen that before, but not intrigued enough to actually try it
Air France lounge terminal One JFK. We are sitting upstairs, which I am pretty sure used to be the old first class Air France lounge. Nobody is going near these salads.
Off to Portugal for a Film Festival – told a few hours ago that our entire airplane got downgraded! we are allowed lounge access – thank God –so this is the Air France lounge at JFK terminal 1. This is the rosé on offer.not bad. And it is my favorite kind of Serve, which is Self.
LGA delta lounge 830am--I thought in NYC you couldn't get alcohol before 10 AM on a Sunday but those rules do not apply here at Delta. Lots of champagne and mimosa drinkers. Bloody Mary's not so much.
On my connecting flight from Atlanta to EWR. Asked for another bloody Mary and got tremendous side eye from the stewardess. I think I would've understood if it was bloody Mary number three, but it was only number two…
Delta one lounge LAX. Almost nothing is self serve --(and you do know how much I love an Alcohol self Serve station!) but these extremely elegant desserts seem to be. Sadly, my sweet tooth is pretty much wine only.
Delta 1 lounge LAX-- somehow, even though I have to switch plans in Atlanta on my way back to NYC I got access to this magnificent place! This is the rosé they're serving – it is light and dry and delicious
Delta lounge MSP. Made my way over to the one by the C gates. MUCH smaller and this seems to be their entire buffet. Trying to get a bead on what Minnesota likes to drink in the morning – I'd say it's pretty much mimosas…
Delta lounge MSP. 2 hr layover on my way to Los Angeles. There are three lounges here – but this one by G gates is said to be not only the best but one of the best in the country. It's OK – spacious and airy – not that imaginative. This is the most interesting thing on the buffet
Delta sky club Memphis. I just saw this popcorn machine hidden in a corner – this bright yellow salt is labeled "Buttery Theater Salt". I'm not quite brave enough to try but I'm glad it's here.
Delta lounge MEM airport. I do love a small regional lounge and was surprised to see that MEM even had one! This roast pork entrée is the first time I have seen Delta offer anything but a braised chicken thigh. I am sipping the Folly rosé – but everyone else is drinking whiskey
