@brianpiehouse Stones a great pub, used to go straight from work on a Friday for one and end up leaving the car in the church car park for the weekend 🤣
@jusavfc@SerMM91 I’m from Bartley Green. Majority Blues to be honest around there, Northfield, Longbridge etc. decent baggie contingent too. Only a few of us Villa fans when I was at school, although that’s probably changed in recent years.
@StanCollymore Wednesday was my best footballing memory of 34 years, even before a ball was kicked. Doubt I’d feel anywhere close to the same if England won.
@Spurs_Optimist Honestly, if this Villa were playing that day, it may of been a tighter affair. But Spurs were brilliant and played us off the park on the day, couldn’t cope with the midfield 3 and relentless press. Lessons learned with players like Bogarde and Tielemens in the 10.
@nffcbrandon Football is all about celebrating moments. Don’t begrudge any of them. Would rather see fans like that after the final whistle than corporate competition winners.
@RunswickRed@TyBracey Was always going to be difficult with the squad you have. Thought it might of been a tighter affair if MGW and Sangare were playing
@forestmad80 Great club and great fans. We were just as disappointed with the team against Spurs. Hope you guys secure safety and kick on next year to make Europe a regular thing, too big a club not to be the case!
That blatant fixture throw has done nothing but make the whole country hate us. Integrity of the league in shatters. On behalf of #AVFC, I sincerely apologise to the wider footballing community. If I’m a neutral, I’d want Forest to win Thursday and Bournmouth to get UCL now.
