@MylesWould The first time I was so winded from sprinting up the stairs to my apt that my heart was beating in my ears, stomach was in my throat and it hurt to breathe.
Ordered my first set of dumbbells as soon as I got through the door.
Oh,
and why don't I just build a climbing wall ?
I'm workin on that.
I just needed something now.
My hang board was driving me to the point of well... You can guess where I was gonna take that. π
Thanks for reading !

Anyways back to the mission.
After spending some time hiking through fields I realized two things.
1. I probably wasn't going to find what I was looking for if I kept going the way I was heading
and
2. That I was pretty damn burnt.
So I decided to head back.

It wasn't the hardest climbing I've done but, even without knowing where to put my hands and feet I was able to get a real good forearm pump traversing back and forth
Once I figure out where some of the harder places to put my hands and feet are it should be great.

After being defeated by the logs I decided to take a detour off of the gravel path.
This is where I got to do something closer to hiking and was almost the best part of the day.
I had thought that in a field, there were two very large boulders.
I found them on satellite, and I had seen them a few times from afar driving by.
When I got to the field, I saw them in their glory, two large grey masses.
From thier outline I could swear they were stone

However apon arrival it became clear that these were two massive piles of desiccated logs.
Some were nearly 10ft in diameter !
>I should have taken pictures but I was so disappointed I just went straight back to walking.

Undefeated, I set out again yesterday; This time heading the opposite direction along the trail.
I had seen some promising things on satellite it that way.
This time, I "hiked" about 12km (gravel trail so not real hiking)
And boy, did I find some things...

So, on Friday I wrote the final exam for the course I was taking.
Since I was now going to have some more free time I made it my mission to find somewhere I could climb.
Rocks, not trees.

I didn't just go roam around blindly, I used maps to find areas with steep ground and used satellite imaging to try and spot boulders that could be large enough to climb.
The places I went off trail were to investigate things I had seen on a map or satellite.
