When Shiann Taylor walked into a LATTC counselor’s office, she was unhoused and unsure of her future. One conversation helped her see a path forward—and introduced her to carpentry. Today, Shiann has completed the Carpentry program and gained hands-on work experience.
Due to ongoing fires and weather conditions, most LACCD campuses remain open; however, there are specific impacts to employees and students. LA Mission College campus is closed. See image for more details.
