Just went through my Instagram and watched so many videos about people who are suffering, especially kids who were born into extreme poverty. I don't know why Instagram brought so many of these videos to me the Algo keeps going on and on as I scroll. This is first time I cried...
You don’t need to be Nigerian to speak out🗣 what’s currently happening is devastating! My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected across the world. This need to end💔 #EndSARS#EndPoliceBrutality
One thing I understand about this Saudi case is that, no one will ever dare to go there and engage in immoral acts again inside their holy religious sites.
Saudi may be harsh with their punishment but truth be said, that's their best measure to stop people from infecting their land with immorality.
All they needed was a scapegoat to warn others and unfortunately people kept falling for it. What does it even take you to abide by rules? It's not as if you're going to live there forever.
The more I read the news, the more it annoys me. No one will question what you do behind close doors but why violate the sanctity of an open mosque inside mecca?
Millions of pilgrims go there every year, perform what takes them there and then return in one piece. The question is, why go to their holy site with another intention aside from worship?
Just randomly remembered the intense wave of sadness that swept through the whole place after Tinubu was declared winner in 2023.
People broke down and were legit crying.
Nigerians, once INEC finishes its charade in January, we have only one option left.
They cannot kill a million of us. Some may die, but they cannot kill us all. They cannot arrest or intimidate us all.
We have endured enough. Whatever comes next, we cannot simply go home and accept another four years.
The time for silent endurance is over.
Is it just me, or does the UFC just feel like it’s in a weird spot at the minute?
Something just doesn’t feel the same. The lack of genuine superstars, those massive fights that used to get everyone talking, the excitement around certain matchups… it just doesn’t seem to hit the same anymore.
I feel like there was a time when a big UFC fight genuinely felt like a massive event. The build-up, the rivalries, the personalities. You couldn’t wait for fight night. The anxiety before the walkouts.
Now, don’t get me wrong, the talent is still there. There are some incredible fighters on the roster, but I feel like there’s a lack of those REAL superstars who can bring in casual fans and make people who don’t even follow MMA want to watch.
Maybe it’s because there are so many events now that nothing feels as special. Maybe it’s just nostalgia and looking back at the likes of McGregor, Rousey, Jones, Silva and GSP.
Or maybe I’m completely wrong and we’re in a great era of the sport.
But I can’t be the only one who feels like something is missing at the minute?
